Prior to IDinsight, Jebet worked in the start-up space, including at Beba Betri, an energy company and Mawingu Networks, an internet service provider. Jebet launched a carpooling tech application in Nairobi to test whether long-distance travelers would adopt sharing of personal cars. She has also worked at One Acre Fund, advising internal teams on various challenges in agricultural service delivery. Jebet received her bachelors degree in economics from Duke University, publishing a senior thesis on women and land rights in Africa.
