Rachel M. Jones is a Senior Manager on the Africa Team at IDinsight, based in Nairobi, Kenya. In her role, Rachel leads IDinsight project teams across sectors to produce high-quality results for clients. Previously, Rachel worked at Jacaranda Health in Kenya for almost 5 years, where she managed a digital health program, a nurse mentorship program, and several research projects. These included a randomized evaluation of an SMS intervention for postpartum women and the development of an automated teletriage flow for antenatal care during COVID-19. Rachel was also a Peace Corps volunteer focused on youth development in Morocco. Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and Music from the College of William & Mary and an MPH in Global Health from Emory University. While at Emory, Rachel had a fellowship with CARE USA and was a researcher with Emory’s Religion & Health Collaborative. She is a dedicated Swahili student, and has intermediate skills in Spanish and Moroccan Arabic.
