Prior to joining IDinsight, Michael worked as a researcher at Musika Development Initiatives, a Zambian non-profit company that works to stimulate private sector investment in the Zambian agricultural market to improve smallholder farmers’ access to improved markets. He has also previously worked as a Junior Analyst for the Industrial Development Corporation in Zambia where he, among other things, reviewed the financial performance of IDC’s portfolio companies and conducted market research. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Zambia and received an award for being the best fourth-year student in Quantitative Methods and Research in Agricultural Economics.
