Oversees evaluation and advisory projects at IDinsight, using metrics and rigorous evidence to guide projects to achieve their social impact goals.

Jefferson Mwaisaka is a Manager at IDinsight based in Nairobi, Kenya. Mwaisaka leads all elements of IDinsight evaluation, including evaluation designs, project management, oversight of analytical processes, engagement of internal and external experts, and construction of high-quality communication materials including policy briefs, technical reports, and presentation materials.

Prior to joining IDinsight, Jefferson Mwaisaka managed multiple projects and researches of public health interventions, child protection and education at the International Center for Reproductive Health – Kenya, the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops and Pathfinder International.

At the International Center for Reproductive Health-Kenya, Mwaisaka won a competitive World Health Organization (WHO) Alliance for Research Capacity Strengthening PhD scholarship in Public Health; He is a final year PhD Candidate at the University of Ghana, College of Health Sciences, School of Public Health. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences (Anthropology major) from Moi University, Kenya and Master degree in project planning and management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He holds other professional qualifications including, certification in Epidemiology in Global Health and Principles of Data Management from University of Washington, Scientific Research Methods and Implementation Research from University of Nairobi and World Health Organization. Mwaisaka is fluent in English and Swahili.
