In her role in Africa Operations, Ivy works closely with Regional Leads and Global Ops to support our Africa teams – from ensuring IDinsight Africa has the best-in-class people, systems and policies, to ensuring our Africa offices are great places to work. Previously, Ivy was an Associate and Senior Associate with IDinsight for three years, based in Kenya and South Africa. She contributed to a portfolio of evaluation and advisory projects in Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa and Mozambique. Prior to joining IDinsight, Ivy conducted research, in collaboration with the MicroLoan Foundation, on the impact of microfinance in Malawi on business profits, savings, household welfare and gender empowerment. Ivy holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Psychology and a master’s degree in Africa and International Development from the University of Edinburgh.
