Bhawna Bisht is a Senior Manager of Accounting and Compliance at IDinsight, based in Delhi, India. In her role, she supports the day-to-day accounting and compliance processes, working in close coordination with other members of the team across IDinsight country offices and multiple functions to ensure accurate consolidation of financial results, reconciliations of intercompany accounts, compliance and appropriate documentation, timely and accurate compliance payments. Bhawna brings over 13 years of experience in finance, accounts and compliance with both for-profit and non-profit, organizations. Prior to IDinsight, she worked as Manager-Finance and Compliance at The Nature Conservancy (India office), Project Administrator with PATH and Finance Manager (for project) at World Vision India. She began her career in audit and later worked for some for-profit ventures as well. Bhawna has an extensive experience of finance, accounts and compliance, management reporting, auditing, and grant management. In the past, she also led the implementation of ERP system in the organizations. Bhawna is a Commerce Graduate from Delhi University and a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). She is also a certified Information System Auditor from ICAI and have specialization in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection. Bhawna speaks English and Hindi.
