Prior to IDinsight, Anu worked as an Associate on the Communication Team with Pragya (NGO), and later on as a Research Associate on a short-term project on Right to Information (RTI) with the Centre for Equity Studies and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Thereafter, she joined Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, as a Researcher and worked on multiple topics such as agriculture, climate change, rainfed agriculture and community forest rights (CFR) across many states in the country. Anu completed her Bachelor’s in Sociology (Hons.) from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University and later completed a Master’s in Development Studies, Ambedkar University, Delhi.
