Prior to IDinsight, Jasmeet worked with Oxford Policy Management where she led quantitative analysis of large-scale state-led interventions in the areas of livelihoods, and health and nutrition in India. She has also worked as a researcher with Institute of Development Studies (UK), where she assisted in data analysis of a time-use survey across India, Nepal, Rwanda and Tanzania. She has extensive field work experience and has worked as a policy researcher on various state welfare programmes on food security and women’s economic empowerment. Jasmeet holds a Masters in Development Economics from the University of Sussex and a Masters in Development Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She is interested in working at the intersection of public policy and data analytics, and her research interest is in maternal and child health, rural livelihoods and social protection.
